D-BOX is continuing its push into commercial theaters by inking a deal with UltraStar Cinemas out of San Diego, California to install D-BOX Motion Control systems in select theaters. D-BOX is already available for home use with DVD and Blu-ray Disc.
The first theater to receive a D-BOX set-up will be in the 14-screen, state-of-the-art, Surprise, Arizona multiplex.
In addition to one of the theater’s including an undetermined number of D-BOX enabled sets, D-BOX will be providing the Surprise multiplex with a demonstration kiosk for the lobby similar to the one going in at Mann’s Chinese theater in Hollywood.
