A community manager at Ubisoft’s message boards has confirmed a patch is currently in the works for the Playstation 3 version of Assassin’s Creed. The patch should fix freezing problems many players have been experiencing while playing the popular stealth game.
“Following our recent statement regarding the freeze issues that some consumers are facing with Assassin’s Creed on PlayStation 3, we can confirm that we are actively working on a game update. This update will help improve the stability of the game and will be released as soon as possible. In the meantime thank you for your ongoing feedback and patience.”
The patch will be available via download through the Playstation Network only. No further details, including a time frame, have been made available.
