Ubisoft has announced a March 20 release date for the arrival of Rayman Origins on Nintendo 3DS.
Rayman Origins is a throwback 2D side-scrolling adventure released on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 in mid-November 2011. On 3DS, Rayman Origins will make the jump to 3D. The irony in playing Rayman Origins in 3D is Ubisoft consciously returned the series to its 2D side-scrolling roots for this new adventure.
Before landing on 3DS, Rayman Origins will make an appearance on Sony’s new Playstation Vita handheld gaming platform in time for the bundle launch on February 14.
