HBO made sure their True Blood panel offered up more than the show’s cast at Comic-Con by delivering an all-new season 4 trailer.
The trailer features over two minutes of footage plucked from several upcoming episodes. It’s highly unlikely the footage stretches as far as the season finale, but it could very well reach into episode 10 or 11.
True Blood relationship watchers will notice several intimate scenes between Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgard). During the True Blood Comic-Con panel, showrunner Alan Ball confirmed that the pair will end up in a shower together, but it will be presented “weirder and dirtier” than how described in the Sookie Stackhouse books.
There’s an insinuation of doom for one or more characters as the season plays out. Several secondary characters have already been offed through this season’s first third, and they likely won’t be the last.
The next episode of True Blood premieres this Sunday at 9pm EST/PST.
