Paramount has confirmed Amazon.com’s early listing and announced that Michael Bay’s Transformers Trilogy is coming to Blu-ray and DVD on December 13.
The Transformers Trilogy set starring Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, Megan Fox, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley will include Transformers, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Each film is expected to be identical to what was presented in standalone editions.
What’s unclear at this time is whether Transformers: Dark of the Moon will include any bonus features. The original release a month or so ago was bare bones, with all the bonus features promised in an upcoming collector’s edition that would also include the Blu-ray 3D version. There’s still a chance that version will be in stores by year’s end, but thus far there’s no definitive evidence suggesting it will.
I’ll share any new information and the Transformers Trilogy Blu-ray cover art as it comes out.
