Amazon.com has shaved three dollars off the price of Transformers on Blu-ray Disc just a few days ahead of its September 2 release.
With a new price of $24.95, Transformers has risen into the top Blu-ray sales spot at Amazon, jumping over Iron Man and The Nightmare Before Christmas on the way. Likewise, Heroes: Season Two has risen into the number three spot shortly after its release.

Also receiving a price drop is just-released The Proposition starring Guy Pierce. It is currently selling for only $10.95, good enough to catapult it into the number five bestsellers slot.

Rounding out the top 10 Blu-ray bestsellers are Batman Begins, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Planet Earth: The Complete Series, V For Vendetta and Kill Bill: Volumes 1 and 2.
