Transformers: Dark of the Moon Trailer Attached to Fast Five

Speculation of when Paramount will deliver the first full-length trailer for Transformers: Dark of the Moon can come to an end as director Michael Bay has dished the specifics on its appearance

In a post on his official message boards, Bay stated the next trailer will be attached to Fast Five and “a bunch of other stuff” next week. Bay might be a little confused with the calendar as Fast Five doesn’t release until April 29 — two weeks from now — but clearly it’s coming before month’s end.

Taking his announcement a step further, Bay promised that Transformers: Dark of the Moon will have the “best 3D of any movie this year,” a bold claim considering many of the 3D titles due this year are still in production. We’ll get our first look at how Bay tackled live-action 3D when the first Transformers 3 trailer drops attached to Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

Elsewhere in Transformers news, a couple new images have hit the ‘Net over the past few days. The first is a banner featuring Optimus Prime with weapons drawn and ready to brawl. The second is a new full-body shot of Sentinel Prime, a long-lost Autobot to be voiced by Leonard Nimoy.
