A ‘Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock’ demo will be available around October 9, but it won’t exactly be free. The demo will be available exclusively on copies of ‘Tony Hawk’s Proving Grounds’ for a period of two weeks, at which time it is expected to be available for free download via Xbox Live Marpetplace.
The demo features five tracks set in the Desert Rock Tour venue, listed below
- Lay Down (by Priestess)
- Even Flow (by Pearl Jam)
- The Metal (by Tenacious D)
- Hit Me with your Best Shot (as made famous by Pat Benatar)
- Rock You like a Hurricane (as made famous by Scorpions)
No mention was made by Activision indicating a possible Playstation 3 demo is in the works.We’ll be sure to pass along any developments should they arise.
