Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 Demo Tees Up on Xbox 360 and PS3

Here’s some golf news that doesn’t involve Rory McIlroy abruptly walking off the course at the Honda Classic. Today, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 owners will be able to download a free playable demo for EA Sports’ upcoming annual release Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 that highlights the Legends of the Majors mode, something Rory would love to be a part of many years from now.

In Legends of the Majors for the demo, players will step onto the 1961 Open Championship at Royal Birkdale as none other than Arnold Palmer. Beating the challenge will unlock 1960s Arnold Palmer for use in the full retail version of the game.

The new integration of LPGA players will be showcased in the demo via the Quick Tournaments feature. Here you can play as Lexi Thompson on the Oak Hill Country Club course.

The online Connected Tournaments mode in the demo will let you play with up to 23 other players on the same course. You will see their balls take flight and watch the leaderboard while playing at your own pace.

Lastly, Kinect and PS Move will be supported in their respective versions of the Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 demo.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 makes its Xbox 360 and PS3 debut on March 26, 2013.
