After Pikmin 3 was given an August 2013 release date for Wii, only one Wii U game showcased in playable form at last year’s E3 was left without a release date: The Wonderful 101 from Platinum Games. With today’s Nintendo Direct focusing on summer releases for Wii U and 3DS, it was the best chance for The Wonderful 101 to finally get a date, which it did.
During today’s Nintendo Direct, it was announced that The Wonderful 101 and its small army of superheroes is coming exclusively to Wii U on September 25. Additional details about the game will be shared after E3.
The Wonderful 101 finally getting a release date should precipitate the final cover art being released in the not-too-distant future.
