Director James Mangold has delivered the news X-Men and comic book movie fans have been waiting for. The first trailer for The Wolverine starring Hugh Jackman will debut online on Wednesday, March 27.
A first sneak peek at the trailer, which Mangold calls a “tweazer,” will be delivered a day earlier via the director’s Twitter feed. Usually trailers for trailers run about 10 seconds in length and this one figures to be no different.
You will get your first chance to see The Wolverine trailer on the big screen in 2D or 3D beginning Friday, March 29 as it will be attached to Paramount’s G.I. Joe: Retaliation.
The Wolverine claws his way into cinemas on July 26, 2013. It marks the sixth entry in Fox’s X-Men series of films.
