CW’s The Vampire Diaries starring Nina Dobrey, Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley, based on the books by L.J. Smith, has been given a street date of August 31 for its debut on Blu-ray Disc and DVD.
All 22 episodes from the first season will be presented on Blu-ray in 1.78:1 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio across four discs. An extensive collection of bonus features shared between Blu-ray and DVD are as follows:
