Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way production company and Warner Bros. Pictures are pushing forward on a reboot of The Twilight Zone for the big screen.
According to Variety, the project was first signed a year ago and only now is starting to show progress with the hiring of Rand Ravich to pen a script. Ravich’s diverse credits include Candyman 2: Farewell to the Flesh, The Astronaut’s Wife, and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind making him a curious selection for the task.
The Twilight Zone was last seen on the big screen in 1983 with Twilight Zone: The Movie. Steven Spielberg and John Landis co-produced the film and directed some of the segments, with George Miller stepping in to direct John Lithgow in the famous “creature on the wing” segment.
