Sony’s big screen adaption of author Cassandra Clare’s The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones starring Lily Collins, Jamie Campbell Bower and Lena Headey got off to a slow start at the box office this weekend with less than $10 million through its first three days. The film’s small yet devoted fan base who did turn out to see it in theaters can get a start on the forthcoming Blu-ray and DVD release.
Online retailer Amazon.com has begun taking pre-orders for the Blu-ray and DVD combo pack of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. They have it priced at $28.69, which works out to 30% off the $40.99 list price.
The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones Blu-ray and DVD release date won’t be officially announced for another month or more, and we’ll pass along all the disc details, cover art and release date when they’re known.
