The Intouchables starring Francois Cluzet and Omar Sy did not win the Best Foreign Film award last night at the 2013 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards. That didn’t stop Sony Pictures Home Entertainment from announcing a March 5 release date for the critically acclaimed film on Blu-ray and DVD.
Based on a true story, The Intouchables centers around a quadriplegic aristocrat who hires a young ex-con to be his caretaker. Both men’s lives are changed forever as the duo form a bond and take Paris by storm.
Sony is bringing The Intouchables to Blu-ray in 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio in French, with English and Spanish subtitle options. The only bonus feature are some deleted scenes.
