Warner’s DC Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns revealed the first official movie trailer for The Green Lantern will debut in front of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 on November 19.
It is customary for studios to attach trailers to their big Thanksgiving-timed films for big blockbusters scheduled for the following summer. Harry Potter, with its enormous fan base and fantasy-tinged story, was the perfect and only choice to attach The Green Lantern.
The Green Lantern, directed by Martin Campbell, stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard and Mark Strong. Look for it in theaters on June 17, 2011.
