Sylvester Stallone’s The Expendables has gone on sale at Amazon.com and its popularity at a new low price has simultaneously shot it up the sales charts and sold through available inventory.
The new (temporary?) price for The Expendables on Blu-ray, which also includes the DVD version, is $12.99 or 68% off the $39.99 list price. That’s a great deal for new Blu-ray player owners as of Christmas, enough to shoot the title up to the number 3 spot on Amazon’s bestseller list for Blu-ray.
If you haven’t seen The Expendables then expect a high body count, high shell count, and low dialogue count. It’s all about old school action heroes doing their thing, though new stock isn’t expected until January 3 so if you order it won’t ship until then.
