The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim finally became official over the weekend with a teaser announce trailer debuting during Spike’s 2010 VGAs. You can watch the trailer below.
Details on the game, the first in the Elder Scrolls series since Oblivion, are being kept under wraps until the February issue of Game Informer, due in stores in early January. According to Todd Howard, who is overseeing the game for Bethesda Game Studios, they’ve been working on the game and the technology that drives it for many years.
The only other tidbit Bethesda is offering right now is a concrete November 11, 2011 release date. In other words, get ready to cough up $60 on 11-11-11.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be released on Xbox 360, PS3 and the PC.
