The Descendants enjoyed a magical evening at the 2012 Golden Globes last night. It took home the award for Best Picture (Drama) as well a Best Actor (Drama) award for star George Clooney. The Golden Globe wins make it a legitimate contender at the upcoming Academy Awards.
The Fox Searchlight drama from Alexander Payne (Sideways) that co-stars Shailene Woodley, Amara Miller, Nick Krause, Beau Bridges and Robert Forster is now available for pre-order in a Blu-ray and DVD combo pack. It could be some time before an official announcement is made by the studio, but at least you can lock in your copy now and not have to worry about it later.
