Mel Gibson’s big screen comeback in The Beaver is coming to Blu-ray and DVD on August 23, 2011 via Summit Home Entertainment.
Jodi Foster directed The Beaver which deals with a man plagued by his own demons who resorts to a sock puppet in order to right his troubled life. The drama co-stars Jennifer Lawrence (The Hunger Games) and Anton Yelchin (Star Trek).
Summit is delivering The Beaver to Blu-ray with three bonus features: an audio commentary with Jodie Foster; deleted scenes; and “Everything is Going to Be O.K.”, a featurette on the making of The Beaver. Tech specs aren’t available at this time, but you can spot the cover art below.
