In Abduction, Taylor Lautner does his impersonation of the Running Man as all sorts of shady characters hunt him down. At his side is leading lady Lily Collins, daughter of Phil and, next year, one of two Snow Whites who will grace the big screen.
Abduction is the first film that Lautner will be carrying squarely on his shoulders. Many consider the Twilight actor to be the next big action star. Whether Abduction bombs or succeeds will go a long way toward determining how ready Lautner is for the big leagues outside the comfy confines of Stephanie Meyer’s vampire universe.
Today I have five new stills from Abduction, almost all of which naturally feature Lautner. Collins managed to sneak in a single solo shot, so good for her.
I’ve also got a new clip called ‘Dinner Shoot Out’ in which a meal/chat between Lautner and Alfred Molina gets a little hairy.
Abduction arrives in theaters everywhere on September 23.
