Taylor Lautner flexes his action muscles in Abduction, the new Lionsgate action thriller that arrives in theaters today.
One of the big set pieces in Abduction features Lautner’s character being spotted by his persuers at a Pittsburgh Pirates baseball game. A chase ensues that sees Lautner’s character running through crowds and using Parkour-like moves to avoid obstacles. He’s quite the atheltic one, Mr. Lautner is.
In an attempt to distance himself in the chase, Lautner’s character opts to slide down a sloped glass escalator ceiling. It’s a nifty move I’m sure his Twilight co-stars would be proud of.
Abduction, which co-stars Lily Collins, Alfred Molina, Jason Isaacs, Maria Bello, Michael Nyqvist and Sigourney Weaver, should be able to finish its opening weekend north of $10 million. Taylor Lautner’s future paychecks will in-part be determined by how well Abduction is received.
