Sony Pictures has joined the party of advertisers showing their Super Bowl commercials before the big game this upcoming Sunday. At least in part, as the first portion of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 traile has gone online and can be watched below.
Consider this The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Super Bowl commercial tease “part 1” as it seems to start from the beginning of the spot and then cut off abruptly right as Spider-Man is saving Gwen Stacy as she plummets through a glass dome. Spoilers ahead, but comic fans might be wondering if she survives the fall, and we’ll have to wait until this summer to find out.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is directed by Marc Webb and stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Paul Giamatti, Sally Field, Dane DeHaan, Colm Feore and Campbell Scott. The film was written by the trio of Roberto Orci,. Alex Kurtzman and Jeff Pinker.
In a few days we will be only three months away from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 swinging into theaters as the release date is May 2. It will be available to watch in 3D and 2D.
