Today D-BOX Technologies announced at the next film to feature their motion control seating treatment following Universal’s Fast Five will be the J.J. Abrams directed and Steven Spielberg produced thriller Super 8.
In making the announcement, D-BOX CEO Claude McMaster stated Super 8’s content is a perfect match for motion effects. We’ve already seen a good chunk of the Super 8 train derailment that has D-BOX written all over it. Hopefully that’s just the tip of the iceberg for large-scale action set pieces.
