The fans have spoken and the vote is in. Per an MGM poll on the official Stargate website, fans have chosen the Atlantis series pilot Rising and season five episode Enemy at the Gate as the top two episodes of the series.
Thanks to the win, both episodes will now appear on the upcoming Stargate Atlantis: Fans’ Choice Blu-ray Disc release on August 4 with cover art designed by fans. The title marks the first appearance for Stargate Atlantis on Blu-ray.
Per the official synopsis provided by MGM, both versions will be extended and include never-before-seen footage. The total disc run time comes in at 87 minutes and tech specs promise 1.78:1 1080p transfers and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio.
