Star Wars Celebration Europe is underway in Germany and a new announcement was made today regarding the fifth and final season of The Clone Wars.
On October 15, Lucasfilm will release Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 5 on Blu-ray to complete The Clone Wars Blu-ray run. The set will include all 20 episodes with two presented as director’s cuts with never-before-seen footage. Bonus features will include cast and crew interviews, deleted and alternate scenes, and making-of materials. This two-disc set carries an SRP of $59.97.
Additionally, a 14-disc Star Wars: The Clone Wars The Complete Series is being readied for a collector’s edition release. This massive box set will span 14 discs and include all five seasons of The Clone Wars, in unique packaging, with a collectible 54-page Art of the Clone Wars booklet that features never-before-published artwork. The SRP for this set is $149.99.
