Star Wars The Clone Wars will be receiving a second videogame later this year per Entertainment Weekly’s “Pop Watch” column.
LucasArts used the column to debut the first trailer for the third-person action adventure game that looks to put you in the role of Clone troopers or Jedi Knights alike with the option for cooperative play with a friend. The trailer also reveals hack-and-slash gameplay with collide with vehicular combat across a number of worlds.
Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes has a September 15 release date on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, and Games for Windows PC. Possible though unconfirmed versions include PSP and Playstation 2.
