Now that the Star Trek cat is out of the bag thanks to a pair of screenings half a world apart, Paramount has loosened their PR grip by rolling out a pair of new character-driven clips.
The first clip sees Spock confront Kirk on the Enterprise Bridge with “Answer Me” as the ship’s bright lights keep catching the camera lens. That distraction will take some getting used to.
Kirk and McCoy make each others acquaintance in the second clip that helps erase painful memories of the awkwardness when Anakin and Obi-Wan first met. Karl Urban has McCoy’s fiery personality down pat.
Less than a month now until Star Trek arrives.
