Tomorrow the sci-fi alien invasion flick Skyline hits theaters and for its filmmakers, Colin and Greg Strause, presents an opportunity to atone for the disappointing Aliens vs. Predators.
The Skyline trailers have drummed up a lot of excitement, much more so than Aliens vs. Predators ever did. According to the Strause brothers in an interview with STYD, we still haven’t seen one of the key aliens in the film.
“There’s another creature we haven’t revealed yet,” Colin said. “That’s pretty bad-ass. Reel five of this movie is one big 19-minute long set piece.”
The two aliens we have seen are the tanker aka the giant ape-like creature that takes out a helicopter, and a drone that enters a building to scoop up people.
