Late last night Activision announced the third console game in the Skylanders franchise is called Skylanders Swap Force and it will be available to purchase via a Starter Pack later this year. You can read all about Skylanders Swap Force from our report earlier this morning.
Since the announcement I have confirmed that the Skylanders Swap Force Starter Pack will include three figures, much like the previous games. Two of those figures will be part of the Swap Force Skylanders team and they are confirmed to be Blast Zone and Wash Buckler. The third figure will be Series 3 Stealth Elf which you can see in our earlier report, as well as the two Swap Force members.
Before you “booo” another appearance of Stealth Elf, keep in mind that the popular ninja will now have the ability to jump and is expected to do so in a unique way in the game. Hopefully we’ll get a look at that when the first Skylanders Swap Force trailer arrives in the very near future.
