Skylanders Giants developer Toys for Bob has heard the cries of adult players asking for a more challenging experience than what Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure had to offer.
In a recent interview with Toys for Bob CEO Paul Reiche, the man in charge of the Skylanders universe revealed that Skylanders Giants will include multiple difficulty settings that can be changed on the fly. What those difficulty levels are, how many they number and how hard they are remains to be seen. At least it’s now known that Skylanders Giants has something built in to cater to adults as much as kids.
But wait, there’s more! Completing Skylanders Giants will unlock the Nightmare difficulty setting. What sounds like something you would expect in find in a hardcore shooter has made its way to Skylanders and could prove a real challenge to beat for advanced gamers; that is if there aren’t unlimited lives.
Skylanders Giants comes to Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii and 3DS on October 21. A Wii U version arrives in stores on November 18.
