Skylanders figures continue to be the hottest gaming-related item well after they heated up during the holiday shopping season late last year. Even months later, new adventure packs like Empire of Ice are still near impossible to locate and buy at retail price.
This morning, online retailer Amazon.com began pre-selling the Empire of Ice adventure pack that includes Skylander Slam Bam for $19.99. According to Amazon’s listing, if you place the pre-order today, Empire of Ice will ship this Wednesday, March 28.
I’ve personally only seen Empire of Ice in stores once and that’s the one that I own. This is the best online opportunity I’ve spotted to pick up Empire of Ice since it was first spotted back in February.
