Shia LaBeouf Suggests Engaging in Real Sex Scenes for Nymphomaniac

Shia LaBeouf Suggests Engaging in Real Sex Scenes for NymphomaniacShia LaBeouf’s next acting gig in Lars von Trier’s upcoming erotic film Nymphomaniac will be one giant leap away from mainstream Hollywood. That’s exactly the direction the still young Transformers and Indiana Jones actor has been saying he wants to steer his acting career.

LaBeouf is following up his recent full frontal nudity appearance in Sigur Ros’ video by partaking in a role for a director he refers to as “very dangerous… the most dangerous dude that I’ve ever showed up for.” It is for this reason that LaBeouf was drawn to the role that makes him feel “terrified” and had no choice but to accept it.

Nymphomaniac is a journey through one woman’s erotic sexual life, from the time she discovers sex as a young woman through her 50s. The name is what the film is about, and LaBeouf says that’s precisely what the Melancholia director is planning to put on film: sex.

The most shocking statement from LaBeouf is that everything in the film “is real,” and that there’s a disclaimer at the top of the script saying as much. The film is about sex so the expectation of LaBeouf and his fellow cast is that they will be engaging in real sexual intercourse in front of the camera.

“Everything that is illegal, we’ll shoot in blurred images,” LaBeouf went on to tell MTV. “I’ve seen intimacy… [what the director] is talking about is something different… it’s going to be a wild movie.”

There are already rumors that von Trier will shoot two versions of the film; one with simulated sex and one with the real deal. If Shia LaBeouf and his costars do engage in real sex in Nymphomaniac then good luck Lars von Trier in convincing everyone that it isn’t a pornographic film.

Nymphomaniac starring Shia LaBeouf, Willem Dafoe, Nicole Kidman, Stellan Skarsgard and Charlotte Gainsbourg will be released in two parts with the first arriving in theaters in 2013. Production is scheduled to get underway next month.
