First the GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra Super Bowl spot hit the web ahead of its TV airing. Now the same has happened with the big daddy, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
The 30-second spot hit the web this morning with quick glimpses and flashes of a much darker looking film and a persistent theme of “revenge.”
There are some big freaking robots in this film, the last of which is debatable has Devastator. Or is that just one of the Constructicons?
Bay teased everyone when making the first Transformers that he wanted a transforming aircraft carrier. He may not have got his wish, but this trailer shows he did decide the Transformers should attack one.
Other things of note: Ravage is clearly seen, the robot smashing through a wall and transforming is like the Audi Decepticon from the Philadelphia Steel Mill shoot, and Optimus Prime gets a chunk of his face knocked off by “someone.”
Check out a larger version over at YouTube, and keep your eyes open during the Super Bowl for a 1080p version to hit the web.
