If you were watching the nailbiter NBA Playoffs match between the Boston Celtics and Orlando Magic on TNT Sunday then you were treated to the first in-game footage from Infinity Ward’s Modern Warfare 2 for PS3 and Xbox 360.
Expectations are through the roof for this sequel and the 17-second trailer does not disappoint. The extension of the Call of Duty series will take players underwater amongst whales, on snowmobiles and on airport tarmacs. The settings are brighter, more diverse and look incredible to play in.
Concluding the teaser trailer is an advertisement for the next shot of footage. For that you’ll want to tune into the NBA Eastern Conference Finals (Celtics versus Cavaliers is a good bet) on TNT May 24.
Modern Warfare 2 for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 has a release date of November 10, 2009.
