Lionsgate has released the first trailer for Killers, a new action/adventure thriller from Robert Luketic starring Katherine Heigl and Ashton Kutcher (Valentine’s Day).
Killers is sort of like taking one of the main characters from Mr. & Mrs. Smith and making them your typical domestic spouse. In this case the Heigl character. An assassination attempt here and car chase there puts Heigl deep into the action where she will klutz her way to saving the day.
Kutcher and Heigl have made a name for themselves on the big screen in mostly romantic comedy and dramatic roles. If Killers prove successful, both could see more guns rather than tear-filled tissues in their future.
Killers co-stars Tom Selleck, Catherine O’Hara and Martin Mull. It will speed into theaters on June 4.
