Infinity Ward has released the first gameplay trailer offering the debut of multiplayer gameplay from this fall’s Modern Warfare 2 (see below).
The trailer emphasizes a new addition to the Call of Duty / Modern Warfare series: Customizable Killstreaks. In this instance, the player completed the required number of kills which unlocks the ability to pilot an AC-130 gunship in multiplayer play.
A couple other neat bonuses revealed in the trailer are Buzzkill, awarded for halting an opponents kill streak; Stuck!, awarded for successfully planting Semtex explosives on an opponent; and Payback!, awarded for a revenge kill.
Watch the trailer below one or one hundred times. You’ll likely catch something new shattering in the greenhouse or exploding in the distance with each subsequent viewing.
Modern Warfare 2 deploys onto Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 10.
