As hyped and anticipated all week, Activision and Infinity Ward aired the new trailer for Modern Warfare 2 on TNT during game 3 of the Orlando Magic versus Cleveland Cavaliers. The Magic surprised and won again, but more importantly, this trailer rocks!
The trailer covers land, air and sea combat operations in numerous locations ranging from a city to a castle to snow-covered hills. There are brutal knifings, a broad daylight double-murder, and plot being introduced via voice-over that your mind will not be able to process until about the third or fourth viewing after soaking in the visuals.
Modern Warfare 2, or Call of Duty 6 if that’s how you want to look at it, will assault stores on November 10 for PS3 and Xbox 360. This game is about as must-own as a game can get.
Look for more Modern Warfare 2 media to arrive roughly a week from now when E3 2009 kicks off in Los Angeles.
