The folks over at Sky Showbiz have gotten their hands on the first image of Peter Sarsgaard in what looks like full head makeup for Dr. Hector Hammond. He’s rocking the bulbous head look without the benefit of CGI enhancement.
The pic was snapped on-location in New Orleans where The Green Lantern is currently filming. In the comics, Hammond is the underachieving son of a senator (played by Tim Robbins) that stumbles onto a meteor and becomes infused with psychic powers that obviously alter his physical appearance.
The Green Lantern also stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Mark Strong and will be in theaters on June 17, 2011.
