Jon Favreau hinted a new Iron Man 2 image was on the way via Twitter and man did he come through.
This evening, USA Today revealed the first-ever picture of Mickey Rourke in his full Whiplash regalia in a scene from Iron Man 2. It just may catch you off guard.
The image fits Rourke’s description of the character with armor covering half of his body and tattoos the rest. The chest power pack is a surprise which Favreau states plays into film’s core theme.
The article, and portion of the image, confirm Whiplash will have whips attached to each arm which will be his primary weapon versus Iron Man. Rourke explains his character “is going to light them up” in reference to the whips which will likely be achieved via elaborate CGI effects.
