I have a bit of a confession to make. You see, I am of the opinion that Dakota Fanning is one of the finest young actresses working today. So much so that my interest in seeing New Moon is more aligned with her portraying a vampire than the Twilight story’s continuation (no, I have not read the books).
In The Twilight Saga: New Moon, Fanning plays an Italian Volturi vampire named Jane. She, and the rest of her Volturi bloodsuckers, have remained absent from all New Moon marketing thus far. We’ve even seen Jacob aka Taylor Lautner as a wolf but not a hint of the Volturi. Until now.
The following set pic is presumably (most likely, but sprinkle with salt accordingly) of Dakota Fanning in costume and makeup as Jane. She certainly looks vamped out with the pale face, heavy makeup and slicked back hair.
Also included are two pictures of the Volturi “nest” courtesy of ShockYa. Not much to look at but better than nothing or the official pics being released. I don’t know about you but the Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart embracing pics are growing tiresome.
