A second trailer has appeared for Spike Jonze’s Where the Wild Things Are and it is even better than the first — which was by no means a slouch. This time we’re taken deeper into the Wild Things’ forest for a closer look at the wondrous creatures.
Where The Wild Things Are, based on the children’s book by Maurice Sendak, stars Catherine Keener, Max Records, Mark Ruffalo, James Gandolfini and Forest Whitaker.
The adventures of a young boy named Max who, after being sent to bed for misbehaving, imagines that he sails away to where the wild things are. Max is loved by the wild creatures who make him their King, though he soon longs to be back home with his family.
Only a couple months left until Where The Wild Things Are releases on October 16.
