Scarface Blu-ray Release Date in September

Some might say Scarface has “balls of steel” which would be an appropriate description given how Universal is treating his September 6, 2011 debut on Blu-ray Disc.

Al Pacino as Scarface will arrive on Blu-ray in a new limited edition package containing new bonus features, 10 collectible cards, a digital copy, and a SteelBook case like the ones prevalent overseas but rare here in North America. Not to be shunned is the actual film whose video and audio have both been restored and will be presented in 1080p resolution and 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, respectively.

The Scarface collectible cards will be designed by fans who can submit their artwork or vote for the 10 winners at the official Scarface Facebook page. The top winner will not only have their artwork on one of the cards but also on a billboard in a major US city to promote the release.
