Touchstone is hoping to taking advantage of Adam Sandler’s latest comedy Funny People hitting theaters on July 31 by releasing a Sandler classic, The Waterboy, on Blu-ray a few days prior on July 28.
When I got this news a short time ago a vision of The Waterboy watching Pirates II: Stagnatti’s Revenge on Blu-ray and saying “that’s some high quality cleavage” materialized. Now you’ll be stuck with that image, too.
Unfortunately that’s all I’ve got on The Waterboy’s Blu-ray adventures but you can pretty much guess the tech specs. I wouldn’t have guessed the SRP as high as $39.99 without any mention of bonus features but there’s still time for some to surface.
