The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman is no stranger to the set of AMC’s show based on his comic book. To give you an idea of what the season 2 shoot is like, Kirkman takes a cameraman onto the live sets for a sneak peek and some questionable humor.
As a producer on The Walking Dead, Kirkman is never required to be on camera. You’d think that the title of producer would garner him immunity from being shushed by the filmmakers. Think again.
On his brief tour around the sets, Kirkman makes sure to point out how interior locations are air-conditioned, what dead people look like, and have a chat with a chap in full zombie make-up. He also gets to play with Rick Grimes’ gun and hat. It’s a good thing Andrew Lincoln unloaded the prop gun first.
