Tim Story’s Ride Along starring Kevin Hart and Ice Cube lit up the box office in January, and its next stop will be on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD starting in April.
The first appearance of Ride Along on home video will be the Digital HD release on April 1. Two weeks later on April 15 is the when the Blu-ray and DVD release date is scheduled for.
Ride Along was released in cinemas on January 17 after a lull in new comedies at the box office. Moviegoers were hungry for laughs and responded to Ride Along to the tune of $117 million and counting. That’s the best original concept comedy movie opening since Ted, and far higher than the estimated $25 million budget.
The Blu-ray edition of Ride Along will be packaged with the DVD and Digital HD versions of the film, and be presented in 2.4:1 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. Bonus features exclusive to Blu-ray are as follows:
