R. Emmerich’s ‘10,000 B.C.’ Coming to Blu-ray

Warner Home Video is currently prepping the Roland Emmerich prehistoric epic and box office underachiever 10,000 B.C. for a June 24 Blu-ray Disc release, day-and-date with the standard DVD version’s debut.

While technical specs have not been released, we expect a 1080p VC-1 encoded transfer to accentuate Camilla Belle along with Dolby TrueHD 5.1 lossless audio to bring Wooley Mammoth stampedes to life.

Supplemental materials will favor Blu-ray with two high-def exclusive featurettes: A Wild and Wooly Ride, and Inspiring an Epic. Both DVD and Blu-ray will share an alternate ending and additional or deleted scenes.

10,000 B.C. on Blu-ray will carry an SRP of $35.99. Check back regularly for full disc specs, high resolution cover art and a pre-order link.
