Retailer Amazon.com has dropped the price of Planet Earth: The Complete Series on Blu-ray Disc, resulting in the title shooting into the top 10 overall sales list for all of home video at the site.
Planet Earth: The Complete Series on Blu-ray had previously been priced at $66.95. With the discount price, it now comes in under $50 at $49.95. That’s 50% off the list price and just under $10 per disc in the 5-disc set, a welcome price for the hoards of new Playstation 3 owners now exposed to Blu-ray.
Still commanding the #1 spot on Amazon’s home video sales list is I Am Legend on Blu-ray. Selling for only $18.95, the new release has been flying out of the stock room and into Blu-ray equipped homes since the price drop.
These sales prices can be raised without notice by Amazon, so if you’re interested in picking up I Am Legend or Planet Earth: The Complete Series for Blu-ray on the cheap, now is the time to act.
