Over 100 Call of Duty: Black Ops Stolen From GameStop

A pair of brazen armed thieves burst into a Bel Air, Maryland GameStop store just before closing over the weekend and walked out with cash, game systems and over 100 copies of Activision’s upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops for PS3, Xbox 360 and the PC. Clearly these robbers knew what software would fetch the biggest bucks. Either that or they couldn’t wait to dive into Black Ops’ Zombie mode.

Also in Maryland’s Harford County, a similar GameStop robbery happen less than three weeks ago on October 21 just before the launch of Microsoft’s Fable 3. In both robberies a white minivan was spotted parked outside the victimized GameStop.

If you’re hoping to score Call of Duty: Black Ops early from someone in Maryland, be aware it might be stolen property.
