Revised to get the wolves names straight: Gil Birmingham aka Billy Black has posted up a behind-the-scenes image snapped during the on-location shoot for The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
Not one to shy away from publicity and fans, Gil has been actively writing about his adventures to share with the world. Rather than offer only words, Gil has taken his communication to the next step with this previously unseen photo.
“This spring I had the chance to run with the wolves again in New Moon, which was a blast!” blogged Gill. “This time, all the wolves were there, which brought the energy on the set to a whole new level. Long days, long nights, hard work, and cold temperatures made it a challenging movie to film. It’s a good thing werewolves are warm; it was awfully cold out there without their shirts!”
Poor wolves. Not only do they not get top billing but are left to stand there, shirtless, while the crew is bundled up in jackets and knit hats. I wonder if he will be reprimanded for publishing this?
Twilight New Moon will delight its fans and enrage everyone else at Comic-Con next Thursday. Head on over to Gil Birmingham’s site if you wish to follow along with the actor’s musings.
